Fresh air VS hot air in the house

Quite often I find myself opening the window while my heating is on, just because the air gets dry and I want to have some influx of the fresh outside air. However it is substantial waste of heat!

    Dear Miss D, I see some overlap here between the ideas posted by Ursula and Yvonne (FEBREZE ETC. SMELLY TOXIC CHEMICAL WASTE & AVOID UNNECESSARY HEAT CONSUMPTION)... Maybe you would like to collaborate to form a combined challenge? Cheers! Bonnie
