Dogs shit! Avoiding this fact through the implementation of the radical solution "don´t feed them anymore" seems problematic due to estimated distortion of social fabric and resistance. In respect of such discrepancies the following interim solution became accepted, at least in the urban realms: Cover one hand with a plastic bag, collect the droppings of your beloved quadruped and dump both - shit and plastic - in communion, more or less unsorted. Unevitable side-effect of these method is that beside the beloved droppings and as a result of the use of plastic bags collateral plastic waste incures wich cannot conveyed offhandedly to our waste separation system. Uncontrolled dumping of the above mentioned kind produces another disadvantage: The dogshit, hermetically sealed in a possibly rot-resistance plastic bag, is separated as long from the natural decomposition-process as the plastic bag doesn´t dissolves or breaks. That is to say that by uncontrolled dumping as a start only aesthetic disturbances show up, but unfortunately later in addition due to odor nuisance the formerly modest disturbances may expand to more serious concern. Wich dog-shit-dumping-solution would cut off the aforesaid chain of problems and lead to a more harmonic living together of owners of beloved quadrupeds and all the other human beings?

Hunde scheissen!

Very relevant idea imo! Hope you find a good solution. Perhaps a compostable paper bag with some bacteria which "eat" the dog's sh.. ?

I was just thinking of this same issue as it is something I have to deal with daily. Looking forward to innovations on this one! Thanks Gero.
